Sponsor I_Blog

I decided, rather on a whim, to have a conference in Iowa because it is not considered a destination by any of the “big” conferences.  There are so many wonderful and influential bloggers in Iowa and the Midwest  who just can’t get to the big conferences due to cost, dates or location. My goal is to bring these bloggers together to share ideas and learn more about blogging and social media.  For the inaugural conference I have reserved the historic Hotel Pattee in Perry.

I am doing my best to keep my conference reasonably priced- about $75 registration + room rates.  The conference will run all day Saturday, November 14 and the morning of November 15.  A light breakfast, lunch & snack will be provided on the first day as well as a breakfast on Sunday.

Because I am keeping costs low I am looking for Midwest companies and companies who have historically supported the blogging community to sponsor portions of the I_Blog Conference.  Sponsoring a portion of I_Blog is an affordable way to place yourself in front of influential Midwestern voices in blogging and social media.

Sponsorship opportunities:

• $100 for product placement in the swag bags (60 bags)
  
• $200 to sponsor one of the speakers (6 opportunities)
  
• $500 to sponsor the welcome breakfast
  
• $500 to sponsor the evening social
• $750 to sponsor lunch
• $1000 to sponsor the Sunday brunch
• I am also looking for a sponsor to provide swag bags or cover the cost of bags

Sponsorship would include any signage you would want to send (I can return it after the conference), the session you are sponsoring being named for your company, a placement in the swag bags, a sponsorship post on the conference website, as well as your web and Twitter links in the post and in the sponsor area on the sidebar.  Not to mention the tweets from both the conference and attendees.
