Thanks for the questions, Stephanie. I don't have a policy against bringing children to the conference. All I ask is that you be thoughtful of others; sit near the back so you can make a quick and easy get-away if your son becomes disruptive, bring quiet play items along for him to play with during sessions.

Also, I am unsure how many cribs/pack & play the hotel has. If you do plan to stay at the Hotel Pattee you will want to check on availability or bring your own.

I will be writing the personal sponsorship policy in about a week. While I don't want to discourage personal sponsorships, the focus on the conference is for the conference sponsors. Personal sponsorship items can not be handed out in the conference areas or left on tables to be picked up by attendees. You could wear a shirt or button from your sponsor, but cannot hand out their items. Again, I will have more about this next week.

Hey,

I had a few questions and couldn't find an email so…are kids welcome at the conference? My son will be 15 months at that time and my husband blogs and would like to attend also so we would like to avoid having to leave him with someone.

Also, are there any rules against being sponsored to come? Guidelines? I may have one of the people I work with sponsor me and need to know before I draft up the letter.

I've never been to a conference so I just want to make sure!
