Sponsor Spotlight: Dexter PC
I’m so happy to introduce you to this sponsor. They recently built a beautiful touch-screen all-in-one system for my grandmother- that I covet!
DexterPC Computer Services was started on January 1st, 2007 by Brian and Linda Smith. The reason that DexterPC was established was that we feel prices for computers and repairs are far too expensive. We wanted to offer a fair price for computer knowledge and DPC (DexterPC) was an avenue to get that fair market price for computer support on the market.
We offer a variety of services ranging from New and Customized Built Computers, Computer Cleanup and Restore, Software, Hardware, Upgrades, Computer Education. We are BBB Accredited. We provide Dedicated Personalized service to the Dexter and Des Moines surrounding area.
We are located in Dexter, IA and offer free delivery and pickup of your computer system.
If you are looking for friendly and knowledgeable people of computers, you will find them here at DexterPC. The owners (Brian and Linda) will be there for computer service advice and will offer you confidence in their knowledge of computers.
Why go to the Chain stores and pay too much? DexterPC Computer Services offers “Hi-Tech help at Small Town Prices.” We ONLY Charge $75/hr.

Creative Memories Has Chosen

Thank you to everyone who entered to win the Creative Memories sponsorship! The entries were all wonderful; it was a very tough decision – every entrant was worthy and we wish we could send you all. But we could choose only one.
We chose Linda (minnemom). We loved her enthusiasm for our product, her passion for blogging & tweeting, and that she’s completely honest in product reviews.
Congratulations to Linda!
Creative Memories Wants to Bring You to I_Blog!
Yep, you read that right! In addition to sponsoring an evening of fun, food & digi-scrapping Creative Memories would also like to bring one lucky blogger to the I_Blog Conference!
So, you’re probably wondering just what you need to do to win… It’s easy, actually. Leave a comment below telling Creative Memories why they should choose you to represent them at I_Blog. Just half a dozen sentences or so… Don’t forget to tell us about your blog!
Now, nothing in life is free, but I don’t think you’ll have any problem fulfilling your end of this bargain if you are chosen. Between the date you are chosen and December 10 the winner will need to write 3 posts pertaining to Creative Memories. (Ideas: 1) Hey! Creative Memories is sending me to I_Blog! 2) Look what I did with the Creative Memories software 3) Gift ideas from Creative Memories Wow, did I just do all the work for you?) In addition to the 3 posts Creative Memories would also like to see some Twitter action from you. Link your posts, do a Twitpic or two, tweet from the conference. If it’s got @Creative_Mems in it it counts!
So… Let’s hear why you should be chosen…
Entries will be sent to Creative Memories October 28. Get your entries in by October 27 by 11:59 pm!
I_Blog Sponsor: Creative Memories!

I am so excited to announce that Creative Memories has signed on to be an I_Blog Conference sponsor! Not only have they signed on to be a sponsor but they have made an offer that requires a change of schedule!
Saturday evening Creative Memories will be hosting a dinner & digi-scrap party! (See the schedule here.)
Forget piles of paper, adhesives and scissors… This is digital scrapbooking. And Creative Memories is going to be on hand to teach us all the ins and outs of the software. And, speaking of the software, every attendee will be receiving a copy! Yep, the new Creative Memories Storybook Creator plus 3.0 will be heading home with you. It’s a very generous offer – the software is worth $65!
Even if you have never scrapped before you’ll want to try this- if only to make some amazing gifts for Christmas. Just wait ‘til you see the wall prints, 12”x18” calendars and photo books! You can also use the Storybook Creator software to pretty up your blog- create your buttons, headers and more!
So be sure to bring your laptop (PC necessary unless your Mac has a bridge), loaded with photos to play with. Speaking of your laptop… You’ll also be getting a new sleeve for it- also courtesy of Creative Memories.
If you want to see what it can do (in the hands of a newbie) take a look at my post over at Iowa Geek. I can’t wait to learn more about what this software can do- especially the auto fill! Talk about a time saver!

Help Bring a Blogger to I_Blog!
I’ve been receiving quite a bit of email lately from Midwest bloggers who want to come to I_Blog but can’t afford it due to recent lay-offs or pay-cuts. Many of these bloggers earn additional income from their blogs and want to learn more about how to do it correctly, how to promote the companies they work with and how to build relationships with companies that will last.
This is a great opportunity for a small business to get online exposure and build positive buzz within the Midwest community of bloggers!
What you get:
- Placement of your product, samples, coupons, etc., in the I_Blog swag bag, given to every attendee.
- A sponsor post on the I_Blog Conference website – I will work on this with you, it can include as much information as you wish.
- Your banner, link or button on the Sponsor page and the front page of the I_Blog Conference website.
- Any Twitter links in the “Follow on Twitter” Sponsor section.
- A post on the website of the attendee you sponsor.
- Lots of Twitter buzz.
What it costs:
- Only $100 per sponsored blogger. This covers individual registration and helps to cover food costs.
To discuss this further please contact jody(at)iblogconference(dot)com or Twitter @I_BlogConf. I am open to any ideas you may have to promote your company!
Bloggers: If you would like to be considered for I_Blog sponsorship please leave a comment. Why should a company choose to sponsor you? Sell yourself! Show what you have to offer!
